Welcome to Bradway Primary

Our school value this half term (Autumn 1) is friendship .

Welcome to Bradway Primary School. I have been Headteacher at this school since 2002 and during that time there have been many changes in education. Through all these changes we have held true to two basic beliefs and principles about what makes a good school and a good learner. Firstly, our school motto, 'Learning Through Enjoyment' highlights the importance that we place on ensuring that Bradway Primary school is a happy place to be and that the content of the curriculum is stimulating, relevant and engaging for our pupils. Our success in achieving this culture in school is supported by the fact that in our last four inspections Ofsted have particularly commented on the quality of our curriculum. (Read More)

Fabulous panels

We are very proud of the panels that have just gone up in our infant playground.  A year ago one of our Year 2 School Council members asked if we could brighten up our infant playground and this was the result: a series of art projects by FS2, Year 1 and Year 2, working with artists from Sheffield, Soo and Charlie, which have been turned into these fabulous panels by designer Karen Perry.
The children love them and we hope that you do too.

Welcome back to a new school year at Bradway!

It may be wet and it may be windy but our learners are full of enthusiasm for the new school year. A special welcome to our new parents and pupils who will be joining us this week in Foundation Stage. We look forward to working together in partnership with you over the coming years.

Safeguarding Alert - Snap Map

Snapchat update: 'SnapMap' shares your location with ALL your contacts. SET TO ‘GHOST MODE’ to prevent this.

How to Enable Ghost Mode In Snapchat

On the map screen, tap the gear icon at the top. You can enable Ghost mode in Snapchat from the settings screen that opens. When you have Ghost mode enabled, your location is hidden while you use Snapchat.

When you enable Ghost mode, your avatar’s face disappears. It is instead replaced with a blue version of the Snapchat logo which means you are not sharing your current location.

When you’re in ghost mode, the cog wheel icon at the top of the map screen gets a little ghost badge as well.
As an additional measure location services can also be turned off.
