Our school value this half term (Spring 1) is Positivity
Welcome to Bradway Primary School. I have been Headteacher at this school since 2002 and during that time there have been many changes in education.
Through all these changes we have held true to two basic beliefs and principles about what makes a good school and a good learner. Firstly, our
school motto, 'Learning Through Enjoyment' highlights the importance that we place on ensuring that
Bradway Primary school is a happy place to be and that the content of the curriculum is stimulating, relevant and engaging for our pupils. Our
success in achieving this culture in school is supported by the fact that in our last four inspections Ofsted have particularly commented on the
quality of our curriculum. (Read More)
We have had such a busy time recently with children taking part in sports of all kinds. We've had football, netball, basketball, Cross Country, sports
hall athletics (which we won overall) and Futsal.
Well done team Bradway!
We are very proud to announce that Bradway came first in the Sports Hall Athletics competition; that is first out of all over 130 schools in Sheffield.
See our Twitter feeds for further details @bradwaystockley or @BradwaySport As a school we are increasingly using Twitter to share news.Creating
a Twitter account is easy and by following your child's year group, and the school and sport accounts you will find out all sorts of information easily
and quickly. There is no cost and no need to have anything else to do with Twitter.
Bradway children helped to plant five trees on the Old School Field in Bradway. Here is one group (below) proudly showing the results of their
hard work. Silver Maples were among the varieties planted, all of which will help to create a better visual environment at the same time as improving
drainage.
Welcome back everyone and Happy New Year to you. We have an exciting action packed year ahead of us and are looking forward to it already. Also we are
pleased to announce that our website is being redesigned so if you have any suggestions for how it can be improved, do let us know.
The new 170m running track is proving a great success with children taking every opportunity to get on it. What a great way to promote daily exercise!
