Welcome to Bradway Primary

Our school value this half term (Summer 1) is responsibility .

Welcome to Bradway Primary School. I have been Headteacher at this school since 2002 and during that time there have been many changes in education. Through all these changes we have held true to two basic beliefs and principles about what makes a good school and a good learner. Firstly, our school motto, 'Learning Through Enjoyment' highlights the importance that we place on ensuring that Bradway Primary school is a happy place to be and that the content of the curriculum is stimulating, relevant and engaging for our pupils. Our success in achieving this culture in school is supported by the fact that in our last four inspections Ofsted have particularly commented on the quality of our curriculum. (Read More)

Safeguarding Alert - Snap Map

Snapchat update: 'SnapMap' shares your location with ALL your contacts. SET TO ‘GHOST MODE’ to prevent this.

How to Enable Ghost Mode In Snapchat

On the map screen, tap the gear icon at the top. You can enable Ghost mode in Snapchat from the settings screen that opens. When you have Ghost mode enabled, your location is hidden while you use Snapchat.

When you enable Ghost mode, your avatar’s face disappears. It is instead replaced with a blue version of the Snapchat logo which means you are not sharing your current location.

When you’re in ghost mode, the cog wheel icon at the top of the map screen gets a little ghost badge as well.
As an additional measure location services can also be turned off.

Spelling Bee Assembly

This Friday, we held our very first Spelling Bee. Four finalists from both Year 3 and Year 4 represented their year group and spelt many tricky words such as separate, chaos, opposite, mountainous and apparition! Despite such difficult spellings, all of the pupils rose to the challenge and we couldn't have been prouder. There was a real 'buzz' in the assembly with children demonstrating fantastic reciprocity, resourcefulness, reflection and resilience.

Well done to all of Year 3 and Year 4 children - your teachers have been amazed at how well you've risen to the challenge. Keep practising and you'll be sure to make progress.
