Bradway Primary School Remembrance Event

Thursday 8th November 10:45am on the School Playground

As you will already be aware, this year marks the centenary of the end of the First World War. As always, the pupils and staff of our school would like to commemorate this significant historical event.

We shall be holding a remembrance event on the school infant playground on Thursday this week. Please arrive promptly if you wish to join us. We would love to see as many parents, grandparents and friends of Bradway as possible. Some of the children will be reciting poems from the War and Mr Stockley will be playing the Last Post on a bugle followed by the two minutes’ silence.

In addition, the pupils have already produced beautiful poppies in art lessons creating a magnificent display in the school hall. This image has been entered into a competition run by the British Legion and School Art Association. You are more than welcome to pop in to see the display after the event, but the image below gives you a flavour.

PLEASE NOTE
Should the weather be bad, then, unfortunately, the outside event will not take place and the children will take just take part in an assembly indoors instead.
