The solar shelter's great in a power cut, but not for electricity!

The solar shelter proved popular as a shady place to eat sandwiches during today's power cut. The kitchen could not cook hot food so most children ate outside and enjoyed the fine weather. Sadly, despite generating lots of power from the sun, we were unable to tap into the power generated by the solar panels on top of the shelter. Everyone enjoyed the day and it showed that the world doesn't completely stop when technology is switched off! Power was finally restored at 1.30pm.
