Creative Constructed Images

As part of our literacy unit this week, on poetry, we looked at images to create awesome adjectives, vivacious verbs and amazing adjectives.We then moved on to look at images and the mood that they conveyed.  The children really grasped the idea of describing mood with ideas such as: 'the red sky makes me think that someone is holding on to some sort of anger'.  At first, the pictures were simple landscape images, we then moved on to look at the constructed images created by Andy Goldsworthy.  Everyone was really impressed by the images.  We then set the children the challenge of creating their own constructed images in the school grounds.  I think you'll agree that the results were brilliant.
