Reading books & Phonics

Your child has now been given their reading book.
The reading book MUST come to school everyday so that your child can be heard read in school as well as at home. 

We have started phonics teaching this week; where your child will learn the letter sounds and learn how to blend and segment sounds. 
We use the Jolly Phonics songs to help your child; these can all be found on youtube and it would be great if you could sing these with your child! 
You could even upload a video onto Tapestry so we can share it with your child's peers.
