Bradway Poetry Slam

Yesterday, Bradway held its very first Poetry Slam. Groups of children across Key Stage 2 classes met with a visiting author and created poems around our school value for this half-term, honesty. 

We finished the day with an assembly where groups of children performed their poems to the whole school while a panel of pupil judges selected the winning teams. Take a look at the pictures below to see how engaged and enthused the children were.
