Non Uniform Day - 14 October 2016

Thursday 06 Oct 2016

School is hosting a non-uniform day in aid of the FOBPS Christmas Fair, which raises money for things like the scooters in Foundation Stage 2 , solar sheltersand outdoor learning equipment used by the children.

In exchange for not having to wear uniform, what we’d really like is for you to bring in a Jolly Jar (or twoor three) to be used as a tombola prize at the Fair (which is on Saturday, 26 November this year)!

So what is a Jolly Jar?

A Jolly Jar usually a jam jar that is filled with goodies like:
  • kids’ craft items
  • sweets or chocolate
  • Lego
  • balloons
  • hair clips, ribbon or bobbles
  • small toys
  • stickers
  • play jewellery
  • small crayons, pencils, pens, erasers, etc
  • things you might find in a party bag.
Try to make your jar appeal to both a boy or a girl; you can decorate your jar if you wish with stickers, glitter, ribbon – the choice is yours.

There’s lots of Jolly Jar inspiration on the internet but we would ask that you don’t include nuts or anything containing nuts please! For more informationplease see attached letter.

Thank you for your support.
