Pupil Premium & Sports Funding
The Pupil Premium is an allocation of funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who may be vulnerable to possible underachievement, in order to tackle inequalities between them and other pupils.
We are currently funded £1320 per pupil for those whose families who have registered for free school meals (FSM). This includes any child who has been registered for FSM at any point during the past six years. At Bradway Primary School, we spend this money to enable us to raise the achievement of funded pupils, whatever their academic starting point and potential. The targeted and strategic use of Pupil Premium supports us in achieving our overall vision: to be a school which promotes 'Learning Through Enjoyment'.
We also receive £2,300 for each pupil who has left local-authority care because of 1 of the following:
- a special guardianship order
- a child arrangements order
- a residence order
Children of Regular Armed Forces personnel are eligible for Service Pupil Premium (SPP) and the school receives £300.

Our aim at Bradway Primary School is for all children to enjoy physical education, fulfil their potential and improve their health and wellbeing through life long participation.
