Handa's Surprise

Well what a busy week! We have been reading Handa's Surprise and have done lots of activities linked with fruit. We have tasted all of the exotic fruitsfrom the story, made healthy fruit smoothies and even done a seeds in fruit investigation in Science.
Please can you make sure your child has got the correct footwear for outdoor P.E. Sports day is coming up (Thursday 29th June) and we have been practisingoutside each week. We still have children without a pair of trainers or have pumps that are too small. Please can you check in their P.E bag. Thank youfor your help in this matter.
On a sadder note, we will be saying goodbye to Mrs Harrington next week, as it is her last day on Friday 23rd June. She has got a new job to look forwardto and we wish her all the best. She will be missed greatly by the staff and the children.
