Bradway Primary School

Remembrance Day

Friday 11 Nov 2016

We had a special whole school assembly this morning to mark Remembrance.  The children behaved impeccably while we observed the two minutes silence.  A fantastic example of this half term's value, 'Respect'.  We made our own poppies using a card template, and some of us created poppy pictures using oil pastels.

In PE we have been practising our balancing, aiming and agility skills.  Look at us in action!

On Monday, we have our special 'Meet the Creature' event.  We will be having an action-packed morning; being busy bakers, making animal collages and meeting lots of cuddly critters! Children will have the opportunity to hold or touch many of the animals but anyone wishing to just 'look' will have their wishes respected! Please ensure your child is NOT wearing nail varnish on Monday, as they will not be able to take part in the baking activity if they are.

Parents' Evening appointments are now available to book online.  Please contact the school office if you have any problems booking.  We are looking forward to meeting you all over the next couple of weeks.

We hope you have a lovely weekend, see you all next week.
