Science, Fun Run and Caves

Friday 06 Jul 2018

On Tuesday in science, we discussed the importance of our diaphragm for helping us breathe and the link between how much regular exercise we do and the number of breaths we take. The children, including Mrs Owens, managed the fun run (clearly demonstrating our need for more breaths after exercise) brilliantly, despite the heat. We have already raised over £1000 for our running track. Please remember to send in all sponsor money asap. In literacy, the children have been following the news about the Thai boys trapped in the cave. We discussed their problem solving ideas on how to rescue the boys and letters were written to the boys and their families.
