Summer is here at last

It must be summer because learning can move outside  the classroom. Here are the children playing giant battleships using their knowledge of co-ordinates and direction.     







Bugsy rehearsals are really taking off and we have some really talented children in Y4 who are showing real potential for the next couple of years and beyond. Please check the blog for rehearsal times after school next week and a reminder that costumes should be brought into school in a named carrier bag by next Friday at the latest.

Finally a fond farewell to Mr Robb, who has been a School Direct student in Mrs Heap's class. We shall miss him and wish him the best of luck in his new post at Ballifield School.

Enjoy the sun but don't forget to apply suncream and bring a water bottle and sun hat next week.
