I'm in Year 5. Get me out of here!!

Welcome back Y5. We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a very happy New Year!!
We were straight back into working hard in Y5 this week. Our new topic is Explorers and the book we are looking at in Literacy is Ice Trap. It tells the story of Shackleton, his crew and how they became trapped in the ice in Antarctica on their ship, The Endurance. 
Maths will be Multiplication and Division and how they are connected. We will then move on to problem solving and reasoning using what we have learned.
Finally our week ended with our Bush Tucker Trials. YUM!!
Take a look at some of the fantastic, stomach churning, daring challenges the children undertook. Well done guys, you were all amazing and we are all very proud of you!!
