The other side to The Highwayman...

After the diary entries which you wrote last week, we then got the chance to hear parts 2 and 3 to The Highwayman story.
At first we all seemed a little distraught at the loss of the two main characters (Bess and The Highwayman). However, after doing further research about the highwayman's actions and past, our opinions of the man have certainly changed...
We had a court case where several witnesses gave evidence about his actions: the landlord of the inn, a local land owner, one of the red-coats and of course the highwayman himself.
We also generated our own news reports from the perspective of a local news station, including interviews from witnesses of the event.
